ANDREW BELL - TENOR
Here is a selection of comments following Andrew's performances
Anthony Pither (Director of Music
University of Leicester)
Andrew Bell has a fine true tenor voice. Having heard and being
impressed by him during a singing lesson and again in an audition (via
a CD), I felt confident to engage him in a performance of Haydn's
Nelson Mass. Four days later, as it happened, Andrew took part in
another concert - this time as soloist in a series of Baroque arias as
well as in Vaughan William's song cycle On Wenlock Edge. Andrew's
performances were very well prepared, the baroque songs being
particularly sensitive. He is pleasant and professional to work with,
bringing intelligence to his singing. Anyone interested in engaging
Andrew would gain my support.
Gerald A Hill (MD Newport Pagnell Singers)
I am writing to thank you for your excellent performance at the Newpor
Pagnell Singer's presentation of Hiawatha's Wedding Feast last
Saturday. Both choristers and audience appreciated your voice and
interpretation.
Henry Macey (Dir Music Langley GS)
I was most impressed by the smoothness and colour of your singing, your
fine phrasing and, when necessary, its power.
